APP Expo

From our Year Six Information Literacy Blog

Posted by Donna Brough & Bronwyn McLeod
To finish off Term 3 the Year 6 students held an APP EXPO for their teachers, assistant principal and principal.

After spending several lessons selecting apps and using Strip Designer to create advertising posters, the year 6’s had to sell their apps to an audience. Their aim was to convince their teachers to add some educational and some fun apps to the classroom iPads.

The 6’s definitley knew all about their chosen apps. As they were demonstrating they  discussed their apps purpose and capabilities, potential classroom uses, cost and star rating and suggested further improvements.

As Info Lit Teachers we were extremely proud of the year 6 students. It was very exciting to move around the room talking with them and realising how much they had learnt over the year so far.  🙂 🙂

…check out some of the apps we love…

…ready to promote our app…

  1. The Grade 6’s did an excellent job with their presentations. It was fantastic learning about different ipad apps before trying some of them out in the classroom. Well done, guys!
